Get support for your Learning Acceleration Grant WITH OUTBRIDGE

Looking for a tutor for your child? We’re here to help.

Our team has partnered with the Virginia Department of Education to support families with their Virginia's K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants (LAG). Our goal is to help families who have been approved to receive $3,000 per child in Learning Acceleration Grants to find resources aligned with their children’s needs.

We built Outbridge, a supportive community and educational resources hub, where you can access guidance related to the LAG program – all at no cost to you.

WHAT IS OUTBRIDGE?

Outbridge is a desktop and mobile app that helps you personalize learning for your children through expert guidance and a community platform that facilitates shared learning. Through Outbridge, we offer:

NAVIGATION OF RESOURCES: We help families find high-quality, experienced virtual providers and resources as well as in-person providers who have availability to support more learners in their local communities.

COMMUNITY FORUM: We will host and moderate discussions on topics, such as identifying your child’s most pressing academic needs and evaluating strong tutors and programs. Parents and caregivers are also welcome to post questions or comments in the forum at any time.

INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT: We’ve created onboarding and how-to videos with easy-to-understand answers to commonly asked questions, and we’re available for 1:1 support too.

COMMUNITY EVENTS: We will hold online community events in our app to help answer questions and provide a space for members to get to know each other better.

About Outschool.org

Who We Are

Outschool.org is an independent non-profit partner of Outschool, an online marketplace with over 140,000 live, virtual classes. Since our founding in March of 2020 we have supported over 34,000 learners across the U.S. and demonstrated impact in academic learning outcomes and belonging.

What We Stand For

Outschool.org’s mission is to provide learners who experience racial and economic marginalization with opportunity and agency to nurture a lifelong love of learning. We work with community partners, such as K-12 public and charter schools, community-based organizations, microschools, and homeschooling co-ops, to co-design and implement academic and enrichment programs.
